Boundaries
What BuiltLong does not do for consultants
BuiltLong covers how a client finds you, starts, and pays. Delivery and back office stay in your other tools.

- Invoice schedules, time tracking, or accounting
- CRM pipelines or automated follow-up
- Calendar sync. You choose each time you offer.
- Seats for a staffed agency. You can add managers to help with client work.
Questions
Questions about BuiltLong for consultants
Does BuiltLong replace my contracts and invoicing?
No. BuiltLong covers the site, the inquiry, and the first payment or retainer. Contracts, e-signatures, invoices, and accounting stay in the tools you use now.
Can clients pay a retainer?
Yes, on Plus. Publish a recurring service billed every week, month, quarter, or year, with optional terms such as two 60-minute sessions a month. Clients pay to your connected payment account and keep their own receipts.
What is a BuiltLong proposal?
A short offer of three or four times you have approved for a session or workshop, with a booking deposit. It is not a proposal document or a contract. Use it when the client needs to pick a time.
Do you support clients in other countries?
Yes. The site and inquiries work worldwide in English, and openings show your timezone. Taking payments depends on your business's country being supported.
Can someone help me run client work?
Yes, on Plus. Add a manager to handle inquiries and client spaces. Only you control billing, domains, features, and the payment account.
Is client information public?
No. Inquiries, client spaces, payments, and receipts are private to you and the client. Your site shows only what you publish.
