Send a one-time payment link after accepting an inquiry, or arrange payment directly with the client.
Online collection is optional
After accepting and contacting a prospect, you can create a one-time paid consultation or project-start deposit. Built Long provides the client payment link and keeps the request and paid status together. You may instead arrange payment directly with the client outside Built Long.
Fees apply only to Built Long payments
Free charges a 2% fee and Plus charges a 1% fee only when the client pays through the Built Long link. Stripe processing is separate. The reviewed request records the purpose, amount, currency, payer, fee, refund terms, and expiry.
Keep large retainers, milestones, vendor funds, and contract or invoicing work in the system you already use.
